matripatch©, is an electrospun nanofiber nonwoven based on the structural proteins elastin and collagen. With its nanofiber structure, matripatch imitates the natural structure of the extracellular matrix in tissues. The unique microstructure is excellent for for cell colonization, tissue engineering and coating. matripatch© consists of a combination of elastin and gelatin. By adjusting the mixing ratio and process parameters, customer-specific properties can be achieved with regard to fiber structure, porosity and mechanical properties. matripatch© is available as a non crosslinked nanofiber nonwoven or chemically crosslinked!
